​The Women Empowerment Awards was created to recognize women who do more than succeed individually. They use their leadership, businesses, ideas and influence to create opportunities for others. What started as a vision to shine a light on extraordinary women has grown into a movement dedicated to creating meaningful change for women and girls across our communities.
 

We believe that behind every successful woman is a story of courage, perseverance, sacrifice and determination. Too often, those stories go unrecognized. We created the Women Empowerment Awards to change that—to give women a platform to be celebrated for what they have achieved, the difference they are making and the example they are setting for others. But we quickly realized that celebrating women was only the beginning.

WHY WE STARTED

The Women Empowerment Awards were created because we saw a need for something bigger than an awards ceremony. Women were building businesses, leading organizations, creating jobs, raising families, advocating for change and contributing to their communities—yet many were still facing barriers to funding, mentorship, education, confidence, connections and opportunity.
 

We wanted to create a platform that didn't just say “you can do it,” but actually helped women move forward.

That vision became the foundation for everything we do.

Today, the Women Empowerment Awards bring together entrepreneurs, professionals, leaders, mentors, philanthropists, artists and changemakers to recognize excellence, share stories and create connections that can open doors. And through the Women Empowerment Foundation, that impact continues long after the celebration ends.

We create access to knowledge, mentorship, leadership development, entrepreneurship resources, communication and career-building opportunities that help women and young girls develop the skills and confidence to move forward.

We believe empowerment must be more than inspiration. It means providing tangible support—financial assistance, scholarships, mentorship, resources, connections and opportunities that can change someone's trajectory.
