The 2025 Women Empowerment Awards Lit Up Toronto

Looking back on a night of glamour and power.

Sequins shimmered under the chandeliers, music filled the air, and voices of celebration echoed across the sold-out ballroom as Toronto gathered for the 2025 Women Empowerment Awards. Presented by Rogers with lead sponsor Mantella Corporation, the evening was a dazzling blend of red carpet glamour and soul-stirring inspiration.

Now in its fourth year, the Women Empowerment Awards  sold out three months in advance, underscoring its place as one of the city’s most anticipated annual events.

This year set a new record, with $32,000 in entrepreneurial grants and $20,000 in scholarships awarded to women launching businesses and young leaders pursuing education.

The night’s energy was electric. Canadian star Keshia Chanté ignited the stage with a performance that had the crowd on its feet, while Associate Minister of Women’s Social and Economic Opportunity, Charmaine Williams, delivered a keynote that spoke directly to the heart of empowerment. Her message—that solidarity is the foundation of progress—resonated deeply.

But beyond the glamour and celebration, the awards carried a powerful message: this is more than an event. It is a movement. A sisterhood. Each grant awarded, each scholarship given, and each story shared empowers another woman and the next generation of young girls.

As the final notes of music faded and guests filtered out into the Toronto night, the feeling of unity remained, and the belief that we rise by lifting others.
